Bricklayers Arms
Named after an old coaching inn, the Bricklayers Arms in south London comprises a four-way roundabout with flyover and bypass lane. While the flyover is seductive in its monumental scale and sweep as it joins the New Kent Road with the Old Kent Road, the large roundabout next to it is easily overlooked. But the roundabout is full of surprises – an unclaimed territory ripe for loitering and lingering.
